GUESTHOUSE
Stefania and Carlo, for many years companions in life, in 2014 began their wonderful adventure in the world of tourism and hospitality and the VATICAN HOLIDAY was born in via Andrea Doria, Rome.
VATICAN HOLIDAY is truly in a strategic position!
Located in the Vatican district, it is only 5 minutes from the entrance of the Vatican Museums and 8 minutes from St. Peter's Basilica, while the rest of the city's attractions such as Castel Sant'Angelo, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Circus Maximus are conveniently reachable on foot or by public transport.
In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous restaurants, bars and sandwich bars, as well as the most famous shopping streets of the capital (Via Cola di Rienzo, Via del Corso, Via Ottaviano, Via Candia…).
The stops of the Metro line A, Cipro / Musei Vaticani and that of Ottaviano, are only a 4-minute walk from the guesthouse.
VATICAN HOLIDAY is strategic for those who love art, for those who have to stay for work and obviously for those who want to have fun and treat themselves to holidays by being carried away by the millenary history of the Eternal City.
The whole Vatican area meets the expectations of the most demanding tourist!
Within a few hundred meters we also find the Court of Rome, some Military Districts, the Auditorium and, for the more sporty, the undisputed temple of the main sporting events: the Foro Italico, with the large Olympic Stadium in the center, also reachable this on foot.

ARRIVAL TIME
From 15:00 to 19:00
By notifying and agreeing with Stefania and Carlo, at least 48 hours before your arrival, it will be possible to check-in after 19:00
It is therefore recommended to communicate the time of arrival. Stefania and Carlo will be able to help you get to Rome more easily, finding with you the solutions that best suit your needs.
CHECK-IN
You can pay in cash, by credit card or debit card or PostPay in the Visa and MasterCard circuits.
Upon arrival, the keys of the guesthouse and the access doors will be given. This will allow you to enter and exit, in full autonomy.
Also during check-in, and on behalf of the Municipality of Rome, you will be asked to pay tourist taxes in cash of € 3.50 per person per night (except for children under 10 years of age).
KEYS
To enjoy your stay with greater freedom, upon your arrival you will be provided with a copy of the keys to the door, the guesthouse and your room.
The rooms are welcoming and comfortable, in their Baroque style they integrate perfectly with the atmosphere of ancient Papal Rome. The rooms are covered with Wallcover fabric, adorned with author paintings and away from city noises. Each is equipped with air conditioning, free WiFi network, safe, Smart TV, mini bar, iron and ironing board, private bathroom with shower or whirlpool tub, hairdryer. Upon request, and according to the availability of the moment, it is possible to have a cot for children up to 2 years. At the Vatican Holiday, all rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the guesthouse.
CLEANING AND LINEN
The cleaning of the rooms is daily and includes the change of linen every three days. With a surcharge, the frequency can vary responding to every single need.
The rooms have a shower towel and face towel for each individual guest.
At check-out you can leave by leaving the keys yourself at the reception. The room must be vacated by 10:00 but even in this case, you can talk to Stefania and Carlo who will do their best to respond to your requests.
No problem for luggage… The storage service is free! You can leave your luggage at the Reception and, upon your return, it will be opened electronically. You will enter the guesthouse again and collect your luggage when it is most convenient for you.
The taxi service is very welcome to the guests of the guesthouse! Requesting a quote will allow you to better evaluate which means of transport best suits your needs.

Parking
The area can be reached by car!
Free parking spaces are provided throughout the area (within the white lines). In hours of heavy traffic, you will need to have a little more patience.
The area also has large underground car parks, but these are subject to charges. Just a few meters from the guesthouse, we have the Triumphal Parking with which Stefania and Carlo have entered into an agreement to obtain a discount on the rate. Also in this case, to find the best solution for your needs, you should contact Stefania and Carlo.
How to reach us
An extra-urban taxi transport service is available on request.
Stefania and Carlo, for all guests arriving by plane, will contact one of the trusted taxi drivers so that punctuality is guaranteed and, upon payment of the fare, no unpleasant surprises.
For the city circuit, however, Stefania and Carlo will provide you with the numbers of the best public companies.
